Window Shopping Victims

Any of you guys/gals fall victim to window shopping?

Has this ever happened to you?

You walk into a shop, with no intention of buying.

Something nice catches your eye.

You pick it up.

The shop assistant approaches you.

You panic.

Shop assistant: How may I help you?

You (Without a second thought): How much is this?

Shop assistant: RM xx,xxx.xx (Some ridonculous amount of money you wish you had stashed away in a bank account in the Cayman Islands)

You: Hmmm......

(Pause)

You: I'll think about it... Maybe I'll come back next week to get it... (Knowing that both you and the shop assistant know that you won't ACTUALLY buy it!)

You NEVER return till that shop assistant got fired or transferred to another branch!!!

Comment if this has happened to you at some point in your life, it sure has happened to me in one way or another MANY times in MY life...

Waiting...

Waiting for my contract, waiting for people to get back to me with quotes for work... That's what we do all day in Malaysia annit? Wait, wait, wait...*aigh*

Now that this blog has been left inactive for a while, I do believe that there will be nobody reading this... But I just had to... You know why?

Nope, not 'just cause I can', but more like, 'just cause I'm bored to bits'...

I don't really know what to blog about anymore... That's why I have been inactive for this long...

Out of desperation, I just have to ask ANYONE, just anyone out there who bothers to look at this...

What should I blog about?

On a very diary-ish note:

My baby is in the workshop again... Hoping that it will be out by tomorrow. Been there for the past week plus... The lousy part is, gotta drive slowly for it to run in... Did a few more modifications to the engine head, taking advantage of the fact that I had to do a top overhaul for it...

On that note, been looking to get meself a new car these past few weeks. Not really decided on one... But then again, I'm pushing the decision till next year or so... Won't stop me from looking and testing other cars out there...

Went to Naza not too long ago and damn was the salesman rude as hell... Said that he'll be heading off to fax an important document and disappeared for good! Happened to Jeff's parents apparently and gosh! Is this what Malaysia has turned into? On a more Non-Malaysia-Hating note, wasn't impressed with the Caldina after looking at it from the inside. Kinda liked the MarkX. Whaddaya guys think?

Btw, for all you techies out there, I found this website with LOADS of coupons... When I say loads, I mean LOOOOAAADDDSSS!!!

For those of you who remember the old TechTV days on Ass-tro, remember that show 'Call for Help', (Yes, I AM a geek at heart!) it's that whacky Chris Pirillo's site. and was surprised to see that he is still streaming everyday on the web, making shitloads of money on the web, just by blogging, creating videos on YouTube and the sort... DAMN!!! Now that's an idol!

Hope I managed to save some money for you guys wanting to order gadgets and the sort... Apparently, he's got coupons for Macbooks... SCHWEEET!!!!!

Still on a very geeky note... I've got an unused Starcraft II beta key for grabs... Make me an offer peeps... Its going on ebay for like 20-30USD... Got the key cause I used to be a maniac gamer... HAHA!

It's been a while...

I know its been a while...

Promised some people that they had all the god given right to kick me in the gonads if I didn't keep this one alive... Well some saw that as an opportunity to let off a little steam...

Been at my assignemnts like shit on velcro... Won't leave the house unless I needed to go to class or photography workshops like last weekend... Been sleeping at 6am every day, not necessarily waking up equally late if I might add...

Can feel it taking its toll on me already...

This may be a bit on the sadistic side, but I promise, it'll not last long...

Just a rant...

Does anyone out there ever feel how mortal they really are? Like how fragile we all ACTUALLY are... 

Some people just put up this exoskeleton built up by their egos and pride, not wanting the world to see how soft their bodies really are... Well, aren't we all turtles now? 

What does it take for us to feel, embrace and love mortality as it is and to stop worrying about what happens tomorrow? When are we ever going to live now, this very day, this very hour, this very minute, this very second... 

This moment.

Throughout our whole lives, we are governed by rules, norms and cultures... When are we ever going to live by OUR OWN rules?

The ones we make for ourselves.

Are we that crooked to a point where we don't even trust ourselves to govern our own lives? Can't we distinguish right from wrong by ourselves? Is that why there is religion? For those who believe in it?

Do I thank the man who wrote these immortal books that stand the test of time, even though its relevance in the modern world is questionable? Do I thank him for giving men and women alike, the guides for self governance? Or do I question that too?

Or, do these books deter us from living by our own rules?

So let me ask you blokes/babes a couple of things, for which you should answer yourselves. 

"Do YOU live by your own rules?"

"Do YOU truly realise how mortal YOU really are?"

"Have YOU dropped your shell yet and started living?"

Like I said... Just a rant...

It's 5 o'clock in the morning, and I should be in bed... It's becoming increasingly difficult to keep my eyes open night after night... It's been weeks since I've had a good night's rest... When will this end?

Ranting from the man who refuses to study

Just to satisfy some of my "fans"... I know that you have been asking me to update my blog again and again... Here's to you...

I won't write much this time around as I have yet to get photos of our random escapades and 'makan' trips out of my phone... But will promise to get them out soon enough...

It's been a rather crazy time since the last post and trust me, this should not be the case considering that the exams are coming up... (note: exams are to blame for the lack of blog updates... haha!)

What can I say this time around? hmmm...

Oh yeah! I got me-self the Zippo! Two in fact... For those of you who remember my last poll and voted, thanks! for those who didn't give a two shit about it... THANKS! You REALLY helped my decision... HAHA!
